Sentinel-Std. - Friday & Saturday, April 7 and April 8, 1944

Mrs. Mary Sperling, formerly of Lyons, died early Friday at the home of her 
daughter, Mrs. P.H. Beale, in Port Huron. The body was brought to Lyons 
Friday and burial will be in Lyons cemetery.

Ms. Sperling was the widow of Albert Sperling, who died in 1937. For a 
number of years she has resided with her daughter. She had been ill for two 
years and confined to her bed since December 28.

SATURDAY APRIL 8, 1944
Final rites for Mrs. Mary Sperling, for many years a resident of Lyons, will 
be held Monday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the Shaw-Rivett funeral chapel, 
Muir. Burial will be in Lyons cemetery.

Mrs. Sperling died early Friday in Port Huron at the home of her daughter, 
Mrs. P.H. Beale, with whom she had resided a number of years.
