Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Thurs. Aug. 2, 2012

Thomas L. Spicer passed away July 23, 2012 in Antioch, Calif. He was born June 
12, 1939 to Theron and Helen Spicer.

He lived in Lyons and Ionia and moved to California where he resided at the 
time of his death. He served five years in the United States Navy.

He is survived by his wife, Julie in Antioch, Calif.; two daughters, Kristi 
(Phil) Kammers of Ionia and Brenda Urquia of Virginia; two sons, Michael 
(Shannon) Spicer of Potterville, and Patrick (Dawn) Spicer of Ionia; six 
grandchildren; Erica Jensen; Elizabeth, Miguel and Sara Uriquia; Kayla and 
Brandon Spicer; two great-grandchildren, Maria and Christian Jensen; two 
brothers, Jack (Barb) Spicer of Lyons, and Glen (Laura) Spicer of Dade City, 
Fla.; three sisters, Sharon Neill of Shelby Township, Diane (Dean) Martin of 
Ionia, Susanne Smith of Pewamo; many nieces and nephews and two aunts.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Debra; two 
grandchildren; one brother, Kenneth; nephews, Kenny and Todd Spicer; and two 
brothers-in-law, Robert Neill Jr. and Delbert Smith.

Cremation  as taken place in accordance with his wishes. There will be no 
service at this time.
