Mr. Spinchcomb died at his farm residence east of Lake Odessa Sunday at the 
age of 84.  He was a pioneer farm settler in the township and was well and 
widely known.  He was very progressive in his farm methods and was always 
interested in scientific farming.  He was one of the first members of the 
Farmer’s Club a club composed of those interested in advancing methods of 
agriculture.

His funeral was from the First United Brethren church, Tuesday at 2 p.m. Rev. 
C. N. Storms officiating.  Burial was in Lakeside.
