The Ionia County Shopper’s Guide, Saturday, January 31, 1998


Mary Ann P. Spitzley, 73, of Mulliken passed away January 20, 1998.  

Surviving are her husband of, Leo M.; four daughters, Carol (David) Kebler of 
Grand Ledge, Barbara (Daniel) Wirth of Westphalia, Shirley Goodson of 
Williamston and Marsha (Mark) Stambaugh of Sunfield; three sons, Thomas (Ann) 
of Grand Ledge, Larry (Pat) and Michael (Patty) both of Mulliken; 14 
grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; four brothers, Robert (Marie) May of 
California, Fred (Germaine) May, Carl (Germaine) May and Leon (Geri) May all of 
Portland; four sisters, Katherine May of Kalamazoo, Dorothy Barker of Portland, 
Laurine (Robert) Spitzley of Mulliken and Sister Joan May of Goodrich.  

Funeral services were held January 23 with burial in Meadowbrook Cemetery in 
Mulliken.  Arrangements by Gorsline Runciman Co. Neller Chapel, Portland.
