Mrs. Jennie E. Sprague, 71, died Monday, March 17, at 9:50 p.m. at the home of
her daughter, Mrs. Harry Lehman, of North Jefferson road where she had been
cared for for the past month.  She was born November 20, 1880, the daughter of
Mary and Joseph McCord.  She lived most of her life in Easton township.  On
December 15, 1895, she was married to Lee Sprague, son of Stella and Melvin
Sprague.

Surviving her are nine children, Mrs. Fred Lehman and Lyle Sprague of Palo, Mrs.
William Thomas, Wesley, Richard and Walter Sprague of Lyons, Frank Sprague of
Grand Haven and Mrs. Harry Lehman of Ionia; 46 grandchildren; 23
great-grandchildren; and three half-brothers, Paul, Robert and Dave McCord, all
of Easton.  A daughter, Mrs. Dollie Head, preceded her in death 19 years ago.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Myers funeral home. 
Burial will be in Easton cemetery.  The body will repose at the Lehman home from
Wednesday at 10 a.m. until Thursday at 11 a.m. when it will be taken to the
funeral home.
