Sentinel-Std. - Monday, Jan. 23, 1978

LANSING- Gary E. Sprague, 40, of 740 North Logan, and a former resident of 
Ionia, died Friday.

Born August 7, 1937, in Ionia, he was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Ivan C. Sprague, 
and was employed as a crane operator at the Olds forge plant in Lansing.

Surviving is his wife, Judith, a son, Michael of Lansing; and his father, 
Ivan and a brother Darryl of Lansing. His mother, the former Georgianna 
Sible, preceded him in death. 

Memorial services will be Tuesday at 11:30 am from the Gorsline-Runciman 
funeral chapel in Lansing.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the chapel Monday from 7 pm 
to 9 pm.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Mason County 4-H extension office 
handicapped riding program.
