                       FRANCIS LELAND "JERRY" SPRAGUE

HOUGHTON LAKE-Francis Leland "Jerry" Sprague,61 of Houghton Lake, died in the 
Roselawn Manor, Lansing, early Thursday morning.

He was born September 1, 1921, in Berlin Township, the son of Glen A. and 
Lillian (Townsend) Sprague.

He attended the Benedict school and the Ionia High School. For many years he was 
a general contractor in Lansing and for the last 18 years lived at Houghton 
Lake.

He was married to Betty Mason, July 21, 1942; she survives. He is also survived 
by one daughter and son-in-law, Mr And Mrs.Kenneth (Joyce) Edwards of 
Potterville; two grandchildren; five brothers, Clinton,Howard and Russell of 
Ionia. Ivan of Lansing, and F.Wayne of Portland; one brother, Glenn Jr., 
preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Myers-Roetman funeral Home in 
Ionia, with the Rev. Ronald Dow officiating.

The family will be at the funeral home Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.
