IONIA - Fannie Mary Grace Sprank, 80, of 209 E. Riverside Drive, Ionia, died 
Dec. 14 at her residence.

Born in Ionia Township July 21, 1906, she was the daughter of Isaac and 
Sarah Hickings Bailey. A graduate of Western Michigan University, she taught 
for 36 years in Ionia County before retiring in 1971. She was a member of 
the Michigan Education Association and the Ionia County Chapter, Retired 
School  Personnel Association.

She was married to Theodore H. Sprank, Sr. of LaPorte, Ind. on Dec. 27, 
1937, he survives.

Also surviving are a son, Theodore H., Jr. of Ionia; two grandsons and two 
nieces.

Funeral services will be conducted from the Rich Street Chapel of the 
Montgomery Funeral Home Tuesday at 11 p.m. with the Rev. Keith Bovee 
officiating.

Burial will be in the Balcom Cemetery.

The family will be at the funeral home Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 8:30 
p.m.

A memorial for the American Cancer Society has been established in care of 
the funeral home.
