The Belding News, Wednesday, November 14, 1917

The death of Mrs. Sarah Squires took place at the home of her daughter, Mrs. 
Fred Beckwith, of Merrick avenue, Tuesday morning, at one o’clock, following a 
lingering illness caused by cancer of the stomach.  Mrs. Squires was 74 years 
of age and had resided here for the past 12 years, coming here from Rockford.

The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at two o’clock, from the 
residence, Rev. A. J. Blair officiating and burial will be in Riverridge 
cemetery.
