The Belding News, Wednesday, November 14, 1917

Harry Stacey received word last Friday morning that his mother, Mrs. Sarah 
Stacey had died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Willard Peck, in Grand 
Rapids, Thursday afternoon.  Mrs. Stacey was for a number of years a resident 
of this place and went to Grand Rapids about a month ago to reside.  The 
funeral services were held at Grand Rapids and the body was taken to Sand Lake 
for burial.
