DALLAS FREDERICK STADEL
Lansing, MI - Dallas Frederick Stadel, age 77 of Lansing, passed away 
peacefully on June. 19, 2017 at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing.

He was born on October 21, 1939 to Berwin Stadel and Madeline (Durkee) 
Goodemoot in lake Odessa. Dallas was a hard worker that was very proud of his 
family. His children will remember him as a good steward of the land and his 
desire to help those in need. His wisdom and witty ways will never leave the 
hearts he touched.

Dallas is survived by son Dennis (Annie) Stadel of Traverse City; three 
daughters, Dena (Kurt) Chase of Hastings, Dawn (Joe) Hughs of Sugar Creek, 
MO, Sunnee (Mark) Freed of Boone, NC; stepdaughter Shae Rivet of Minneapolis, 
MN; two stepsons, Charles (Diva) Rudnick, Joseph (Lisa) Rudnick both of 
Mattawan; 19 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; step-siblings Alan 
Goodemoot, Sharon (Ron) Brink, Jean Mulfor and Von (Sharlene) Goodemoot; 
former wife's Dixie, Stadel-Manshum and Trudy Stadel; mother-in-law, Phylis 
Glass; brothers-in-law, Pat (Jane) Glass and Michael Glass.

Proceeding Dallas in death were parents, Berwin and Madeline; stepfather Ford 
Goodemoot; his beloved wife, Anne (Rudnick) Stadel; sister, Shirley and Buck 
Yager; granddaughter, Elsa Winter Freed; step-siblings, Bob Mulford and 
Sharon Goodemoot.

Funeral services were held Friday, June 23, 2017 at Koops Funeral Chapel. 
Burial took place at Lakeside Cemetery in lake Odessa.

In Lieu of flowers the family ask you "pay it forward" in helping someone you 
see in need by choosing a charity/person/family of your choice. Donations can 
also be given to lake Odessa First responders of lake Odessa Fire department.
