CLARKSVILLE- Bernice V. Stahl, 75, of Lowell, formerly of Clarksville, died 
Thursday, Nov. 12, at the Blodgett Memorial Medical Center in Grand Rapids.

She was born Sept. 15, 1912, in Alto, the daughter of Floyd and Pearl (Colby) 
Yeiter. She was graduated from Lowell High School and was married to Lloyd 
Stahl in Alto. 

She and her husband lived in the Clarksville area for many years. She was a 
musician and taught piano lessons for several years. She was a member of the 
Clarksville Bible Church.

Her husband, Lloyd, preceded her in death in June 1977. A sister, Doris also 
preceded her in death in April 1987.

Survivors include two daughters, Dorene (Mrs. Thomas) Smith of Clarksville and 
Darlene (Mrs. Ernest) DeGroote of Hastings and six grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Clarksville Bible Church with 
the Rev. Larry Pike officiating. Burial will follow in Clarksville Cemetery. 
Friends may visit the family Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Koops 
Funeral Chapel, Clarksville.
