                  Maxine L.Stahl

CLARKSVILLE - Mrs.Maxine L.Stahl, age 80 of Clarksville, went to be with her 
Lord on November 19, 1998 at Pennock Hospital, Hasting's.


She was born April 26, 1918 in Wacousta, the daughter of Roy and Retta (Shaffer) 
Litchfield.

She married Clare Stahl on May 25, 1936.

She worked for General Motors for ten years, she enjoyed her Monday night 
bowling for many years and working on the farm with Clare.

She is survived by her husband,Clare Stahl; children,Francis (Doris) Stahl of 
Gowen, Forrest Dean (Jeanine)Stahl of Clarksville, Kendall(Marvyl)Stahl of 
Middleville, Carol(James)Smith of Clarksville, Joy (Clarence) Holley of 
Clarksville; 22 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; brother, Durwood 
Litchfield of Florida; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her two sisters; and three brothers.

Funeral Services for Mrs.Stahl were held Monday, November 23, 1998 at the 
Clarksville Bible Church.Reverend Edward Schrock officiated.

Interment took place in Clarksville Cemetery.

Memorials can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

Arrangements were made by Koops Funeral Chapel, Clarksville.
