Mrs. Minnie C. Stahlin, 80, died Friday afternoon at United Memorial Hospital 
following a short illness.

Born in Orleans Township, Ionia County, Oct. 31, 1878, Mrs. Stahlin had lived 
in Belding for 22 years.  Previously she had resided in Montana.  She was a 
member of Unity.

On July 3, 1903 she was married to John W. Stahlin.  He died in 1953.  
Surviving is a stepson, Harold Stahlin, Belding; five sisters, Mrs. Hattie 
Lees, Belding, Mrs. Clora Harrington, Ionia; Mrs. Ella Osborn, Mrs. Eva Rose 
and Mrs. Christena Taylor, all of Lansing, and two brothers, George Clifford, 
Traverse City and Arthur Clifford, Orleans.  There are several nieces and 
nephews.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Ellis Funeral Home with 
the Rev. H. S. Ellis officiating.  Burial will be in River Ridge Cemetery.
