                              DOUGLAS DEAN STAINES

Died July 21, 2022-age 75
Born November 8, 1946 son of William & Rosemary (Kimball) Staines.
Douglas enjoyed working on his John Deere Tractors, playing jokes on his 
grandchildren.
Served in the Vietnam War during years of 1966-1967. Decorated with a Good 
Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal,Republic of 
Vietnam campaign Medal & Marksmen (Rifle).
He was kind, funny, the guy everyone came to if they needed advice or something 
repaired.
His grandchildren were the light of his life!
Survived by his wife, Katherine (May) Staines, daughters, Shannon Staines & Dawn 
Parish (Jim Smith). 
Also his grandchildren;Emily (Parras) Baisen (David), Elizabeth (Parish) Baker 
(Brandon), Tabitha parish, William Parish and Jamie Smith, a swell as his soon 
to be great-granddaughter, Selina Baisden.
His sister, Julie Peters a& Church, and Countless nieces & nephews
Preceded in death by his parents, William & Rosemary (Kimball) Staines, Son-in-
law,Alexander Parras, & beloved pets Molly & Bear. 
Memorial Service will be officiated Tuesday, July 26 2022 at the Lehman Funeral 
Home, Portland by Pastor Gary Coleman.
The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the Funeral 
Home.
