Evelyn C. Stair Dies Unexpectedly
Mrs.Evelyn C. Stair, 39, of Elm Rd.Route 1, passed away unexpectedly Thursday 
morning and was dead on arrival at Pennock Hospital about 8:30. She was born in 
Detroit, November 16, 1928, daughter of Glen and Margaret (Tischer) Leazenby and 
came to the local area in 1944. She was a 1948 graduate of the Lake Odessa high 
school and the same year married Forest Stair.

Surviving are her husband, two daughters, Paula and Connie and two sons Steven 
and Scott at home and a sister Mrs.Owen (Madelon) Lehman of Clarksville.

Funeral services were held Sunday at the Pickens Funeral Chapel, with burial in 
Lakeside cemetery.Rev. Marvin Zimmerman officiated.
