Ionia Sentinel, 1995

Eustis, Fla. – Lee A. “Pee Wee” Stalter, 85, of Eustis, Fla., formerly of 
Ionia, died Wednesday, Nov. 29, 1995 in Florida.

He was a retired interior/exterior decorator and a member of the Church of 
Christ in Eustis.

Surviving are his wife LaVerne B. Stalter; son A. W. Stalter, of Womelsdorf, 
Penn; daughter Joan Macklin, of Edmore; six grandchildren; eight great-
grandchildren; brother William Stalter, of Clarksville; and sisters Hazel 
Varney, of Hastings and Ivah Moore, of Byron Center.  He was preceded in death 
by his first wife, Eugena (Jean) Stalter, on July 22, 1984.

Funeral services were held today, Dec. 1, at the Harden-Pauli Funeral Home in 
Eustis with Rev. Vernon Means officiating.  Private graveside services will be 
held in the spring at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Ionia.  Local arrangements have 
been made by the Myers Memorial Chapel in Ionia.
