Ionia Sentinel, 25 Jul 1984

Ionia – Eugenia (Jean) Stalter, 71, formerly of Lincoln Ave., Ionia, died 
Sunday at Waterman Memorial Hospital in Eustis, Florida.  She was born March 6, 
1913, in Ionia, the daughter of William and Katherine Kenny Patterson.  She was 
married February 3, 1934, in Indiana to Lee Alfred Stalter.

She was formerly employed at J.C. Penney Co., the Vogue Shop and LeAnne Shoppe 
in Ionia.

She was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Church in Ionia.

She is survived by her husband, Lee; one son, A.W. (Bud) Stalter of Eustis, 
Florida; one daughter, Mrs. Jerry (Joanne) Macklin of Edmore; one sister, Ruth 
Maynard of Portland; six grandchildren.

Funeral mass will be recited Friday at 11 a.m. at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic 
Church in Ionia.  Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.  Rosary will be 
recited Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the Roetman Funeral Home.  The family will be 
at Roetman Funeral Home on Wednesday and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
