He had gone to Grand Rapids on the noon train. His body was carried to the station house and a coroner’s jury impaneled who decided that he came to his death as before stated. Mr. Stalter’s family who live about 2 ½ miles north of town were notified and his oldest son came here about 10 o’clock and took him home. He leaves a widow and three grown up children in comfortable circumstances. [Transcriber's Note: There is a notation on the obituary card that he was buried in Lakeside Cemetery.] File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/mi/ionia/obits/s/stalter33757nob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.net/mifiles/ File size: 1.3 Kb
