Feb. 22, 1930 MRS. CARRIE STANARD An illness of heart disease since Christmas resulted in the death of Mrs. Carrie Stanard, 302 West Lincoln Avenue. at the Dr. Dutt hospital, Lansing, early Friday evening, in which place she was taken during the afternoon, where it was hoped that she would get relief from the malady. While preparations were being made for the removal to Lansing, Mrs. Stanard conversed freely with member of the family and spoke often with happy expectation of the time when she would be well again. In the death of Mrs. Stanard, the family loses a kindly, devoted wife and mother who was beloved by all who knew her, and the community, a person whose life symbolized the Christianity which constituted her faith and made her existence on of gracious kindliness. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was born in this vicinity 64 years ago and had always lived here. Her husband, Ira Stanard, to whom she was married ___ years ago.; sons, Glenn and ___nard of Ionia and F. A. Stanard of Lansing; a daughter ___trude Zapp of Detroit, and grandson Harold, son of Glenn survive. The funeral service from the home Monday at 2 o'clock.
