               Excerpts from Greenville Obituary

                         WALTER M. STANCILL

Died Monday April 13, 1987 age 72 at home on Jacoby Rd, Belding, Michigan.
Born October 14, 1914 in Edgecombe N.C. to Wiley & Mertie Hearn Stancill.
A retired Service station operator.
Survived by 3 sons, Walter J.(Linda) with whom he made his home, Jerry K, of 
Elizabeth City,N.C., James A., Grimesland, N.C.; 4 sisters, Melba, Mertie, 
Mildred & Tina; 3 brothers, Lenwood, Joe and Wallie Jr.;& 4 grandchildren.
Preceded in death by a son,Nathan W. in 1947 and a daughter, Shirley in 1960.
Graveside services are 1 p.m. Friday at Marble Cemetery, in Keene Township.
Rev. Tim Jarvis of First Assembly of God, Belding will officiate.
No visitation will be held.
Arrangements in care of Johnson Home Funeral, Belding,Michigan.
