Ionia Standard, 11 Dec 1896

Maude Stanley, aged 15, died on Saturday evening of malarial fever.  She had
made her home in Ionia since last spring, with Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Kling, Mrs.
Kling being a cousin.  Her mother lives in Detroit.  Funeral was on Tuesday,
from Church of Christ.
