Daily Sentinel - Thursday, Feb. 22, 1906

Hon. A. S. Stannard, of Lowell, died Saturday and Mrs. Stannard died the Tuesday 
before. The funeral for both was held Tuesday and they were buried in one grave in
the 
South Boston cemetery. They were old residents of South Boston and had a large
circle 
of friends to mourn their departure. They celebrated their golden wedding
anniversary a 
few years ago. Mr. Stannard at one time served as member of the legislature from
Ionia 
county.
