Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Mon. Feb. 26, 1990

SARANAC- Fay C. Stanton, 92, of 320 Summit, Saranac, died Feb. 23 at the Lowell 
Medical Care Center.

She was born in Ionia County July 20, 1897, the daughter of Edson and Ella 
Hopkins Baldwin. She lived in Ionia County all of her life.

She married Louis Stanton, Jan. 7, 1922. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a 
sister, Ethelyne Olmstead of Lowell. She was preceded in death by a daughter, 
Joyce Kline, March 25, 1989, and a brother. 

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Lake Funeral Home, Saranac, with 
the Rev. Katherine Coombs of Easton United Methodist Church officiating. 
Cremation will follow.

Visitation is tonight from 7 to 8:30.

A memorial for Easton United Methodist Church has been established, in care of 
the funeral home.
