Alvin D. Stanton, 85, of Ferndale, died Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2013, at his home.  
He was born Oct. 23, 1928 in Royal Oak to Forest and Laura. 

He is survived by wife, Georgia; children, William (Gail), Trina Sweet, Richard 
(Yasmin), Laura (Charles) Gregory and Barbara (Dan) Emery; siblings, Calvin 
(Arlene) and Linda (Tom) Russell; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren 
and one great, great grandson. 

He was predeceased by a son, Robert.
