Ionia Daily Standard - Thursday, March 8, 1917

Mrs. E. T. Montgomery, Union St., today received telegraphic notice of the death of
her 
brother, Charles H. Stanton, at Buffalo, New York. Deceased was aged 71 years. He
was a 
resident of Ionia many years in the lumber days, going from here to Sheridan, and 
thence back to Ionia, from which place he moved to Buffalo. Mrs. Stanton visited the

Ionia relatives and friends two years ago. He was greatly esteemed in business
circles 
when a resident here.
