Former Well Known Belding Man Passes Away at Hart, Mich. John W. Stanton, a former well known resident of this city and for 10 years a fireman in the Richardson Silk mill, passed away at his late home in Hart, on Sunday last at an early hour, having reached the age of 61 years, 1 month and 17 days. The remains were brought to this city Tuesday night and the funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Baptist church conducted by Rev. H.N. Spear. Two sons Will and Elmer, and two daughters, Matilda and Leone, and a faithful devoted wife are left behind to mourn the loss of a much loved parent and husband, and many friends will regret to learn of his death. Paralysis of the heart is attributed as the cause of death. The remains were taken to River Ridge cemetery for interment.
