She had previously been ill for several months. She was born in New York state in 1857 and came to Saranac about 36 years ago where she was married to the late George Stark. She was a member of the Congregational church, Mite society, Rebecca lodge, Royal Neighbors of which she was recorder for 30 years and a past noble grand of Saranac. She was town librarian for 25 years and was employed as night operator at the Saranac telephone office for twelve years. Surviving are a son, Elmer Finch of Saranac, two step granddaughters, Mrs. Esther Sandborn of Saranac and Mrs. Pauline Post of Saranac, and two step grandsons of Flint and Lakeview. Four great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Congregational church of Saranac. Rev. John Gehring will officiate. Burial will be at Saranac cemetery.
