The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, March 11, 1936

The funeral services for Fred Stark were held at the home of H. T. Johnson 
Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock with Rev. F. G. Wright of Ganges, officiating, 
assisted by Rev. Frank Loomis.  Music was furnished by Mary and Audrey Darby.  
The bearers were Albert Houserman, Glenn Tower, Charles Palmer, Allie Austin, 
Harlie Hunter and Sherman Eddy.  Burial was at the Saranac cemetery.

Among those from away here to attend the funeral services were: Mr. and Mrs. 
Fred Butler and son and Mrs. Frank Butler, of Lakeview; Paul Butler, of Flint; 
Mr. and Mrs. Carmen Holcomb, of Detroit; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Miller, of Battle 
Creek; Mr. and Mrs. Harry Lilly, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bush, Mrs. Mabel Rockwell, 
Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Perrin, Mr. and Mrs. James Rigney and son James, of Grand 
Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Oberlin and Mrs. Alice Smith, of Chicago; O. V. 
Slack, of Sturgis; Z. Kramer, of Buffalo, N.Y.; Mr. and Mrs. Bert Antcliff, of 
Belding; Mr. and Mrs. Russell Breckon, of Ionia; Mrs. Laura Jones and Mrs. R. 
Kerr, of Flint; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Bradford, of Easton, and Mrs. F. G. Wright, 
of Ganges.
