Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Thurs. Jan. 12, 2012

Sharon Jean Stark, 55, of Ionia, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012 after a 
long illness with breast cancer. She was born on Feb. 5, 1956 in Manistee, the 
daughter of Wayne and Gloria (Fowler) Biers.

Sharon enjoyed genealogy, crafts and especially spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents.

Surviving are her husband, Allan Stark of Ionia; son, Michael Stark of Ionia; 
sister, Carol (Doug) Chamber of Hanover; brothers, Richard Biers of Freesoil, 
Franklin (Millicent) Biers of Manistee, Jonathan (Ellen) Biers of Ft. Wayne, 
Ind., and Robert Biers of Manistee; special friend of 44 years, Karen Van Horn 
of Grand Rapids; several nieces and nephews.

The mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, 
2012 at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ionia, with the Rev. Thomas 
Boufford, Pastor, presiding. Rite of Committal will take place at a later date.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass a the 
church on Saturday.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made to the Ionia Area 
Hospice, in memory of Sharon.
