The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, April 7, 1959
William A. Starke, 72, of Niles, a retired railroad man, died Monday at 10:30 
a.m. he was born in Niles November 2, 1886.

Surviving are his wife, Aurilla; two daughters, Mrs. Edith Seidel of Ionia, 
and Mrs. LaVern Gelow of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; two grandchildren and one great-
grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Bernard Clark and Mrs. Max Collins and one 
brother, Henry Starke, all of Niles.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 4 p.m. at Piler funeral home in 
Niles with burial in Forestlawn cemetery at Three Oaks.
