Keith Edward Starr, aged 77, of Saranac passed away Dec. 9, 2008.

He was born Jan. 18, 1931 in Big Rapids, the son of Linus and Aneta (Jones) 
Starr. He married Grace Johnson Aug. 20, 1953 in Big Rapids. Keith was a member 
of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus in Saranac, Carvers Club 
of Lowell. He was an avid hunter.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Grace of Saranac; children Linda 
(Jerry) Tasker of Crystal, Kevin (Paula) Starr of Ada and Patti Starr of 
Lowell; sisters Carolyn Smith of Grand Haven and Joan (Donald ) Kessler of 
Grand Haven; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by 1 daughter Aneta Solomon. 

Funeral Mass will be held Friday 11 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in 
Saranac with Rev. Phil Shangraw celebrant. Interment Saranac Cemetery. 
Visitation will be on Thursday 4-7 p.m. at the Lake Funeral Home in Saranac, 
Rosary Thursday at 4 p.m. Anyone wishing may make memorial contributions to St. 
Anthony’s Catholic Church Building Fund. Online condolences may be made at
