Frank C. Stauffer, 64, of DeWitt, died Sunday, March 11, 2001.  Mr. Stauffer 
was born April 8, 1936, in Lansing.  He served in the U.S. Army from 1954 to 
1957 and worked for the William Rickenback Construction Company for 26 years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frank L. Stauffer; son, Steve L. 
Stauffer; and sister, Beverly Reeder.

Surviving are five children, Frank (Fran), Wesley, Charles Stauffer and Lura 
(Mick) Flanders, all of Muir, and Debra (Paul) Charles, of Lyons; companion, 
Jerry White of DeWitt; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; mother, 
Doris Root of Bath; and sister, Cheryl Campbell of Wixom.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, 
Bath, with military services provided by the Edwin J. Leyanna VFW Post #671, 
DeWitt.  The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 
p.m. Wednesday at the Gorsline-Runciman Co. DeWitt Chapel, 111 S. Franklin, 
DeWitt.
