The Ionia Daily Sentinel, Friday, July 17, 1959
Roy St. Claire, 83, died at 5:15 p.m. July 16 at his home in Lyons.  He was 
born October 29, 1875 at Bloomer Center, Montcalm county, the son of Mrs. and 
Mrs. Wallace St. Claire.  He was married to Inez Goodwin October 27, 1897.  
They lived in North Plains township for many years before moving to Lyons.  
Mrs. St. Claire died a few years ago.  

He is survived by a son, Marshall of Lyons, one daughter, Mrs. Adah Jones of 
Muir; two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, a 100 year old sister, Mrs. 
Eva Broesamie of Paris, California, and one step-sister, Mrs. Carrie 
Richardson of Richmond, Virginia.

Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Shaw-Rivett funeral home at 
Muir with burial in North Plains cemetery.

Service for Roy St. Claire, 83, who died July 16 at his home in Lyons, was 
held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Shaw-Rivett funeral home in Muir.  The Rev. 
Richard Kidder, pastor of Lyons Methodist church conducted the service and 
interment was at North Plains cemetery.  Bearers were Claude Eldridge, Harold 
Childs, Maxwell Strachan, Donald Barr, Frank Smith and George Fletcher.
