The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, June 27, 1934
Mrs. Fidelia A. Steady, 88 years of age, died at the County home Wednesday 
morning, June 27.  Her husband, William Steady, was for many years a workman 
in the Hoag & VanSickle mill at Prairie Creek, his death occurring in 1922.  
She had been blind for a number of years.  

Surviving are her grandmother, Mrs. Eva Hope, of Ionia, and an adopted son, 
Morris Steady, of Battle Creek.

Funeral services will be held at the Stone funeral home Friday afternoon at 
2:30 o’clock with burial at the family lot, Highland Park cemetery.
