The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Monday, August 1, 1955

Mrs. Frieda A. C. Stearns, 82, died at the home of her son, Karl W. Stearns of 
Gaylord Saturday, July 30.  Mrs. Stearns was born in Germany, coming to this 
country when a small child.  She was a member of Beatrice Rebekah lodge and of 
the past noble grand club.

Survivors are one son, Karl, one daughter, Mrs. Ida Lee of Ionia, four 
grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Martha Quigley and 
Mrs. Minnie Densmore of Ionia and two brothers, Robert and Otto Fantow of 
Detroit.

Funeral services will be Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Myers funeral 
home.  The Rev. George Rentschler will officiate and burial will be at Easton 
cemetery.
