Marjorie C. Stearns, 90, of Palo passed away on June 19, 2011 at the Laurels 
of Fulton.  She was born Setember 23, 1920,the daughter of Bernard and Mary 
(Mills) Tibbet in Grandville.  Her parents, two brothers, one sister and three 
grandchildren have preceded her in death.

She married Neal A. Stearns in Grandville on June 4, 1940.  He survives along 
with daughter, Carmen and Dan Lindquist of Palo, two sons, Steven and Sandra 
Stearns of Hopkins, and David and Marlinda Stearns of Scio Oregon; six 
grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and 
her sister, Arminta DeYoung of Lansing.

Marjorie was a member of the Eastern Stars and the Palo United Methodist 
Church.  Funeral services were held on June 23, 2011 at the Palo United 
Methodist Church. Interment will be at the Palo Cemetery.  Arrangements by 
Simpson Family Funeral Homes.
