The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Monday, April 4, 1977

Leland (Dutch) Stebbins, 74, of 731 King street, died Monday morning at Ionia 
manor after an extended illness.  He was born October 17, 1902, in Ionia 
county, the son of Allen and Myrtle Stebbins.  

A member of the Ionia Elks lodge, he married Reva Pierce in 1964.  She 
survives.  Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Homer (Lynette) Blalock of 
Los Angeles, California; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one 
brother, Hyland of Lansing.

Services are Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. from the Stebbins-Simpson funeral home in 
Sheridan with Rev. Gerald W. Bowen officiating.  Burial is in Easton 
cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Michigan Heart 
Association.  Visitation is Monday 7 to 8:30 p.m. and Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 
8:30 p.m.
