RECENT DEATH:  Gladys C. Stebbins, widow of Max Stebbins, mother of Larry 
Stebbins and two infant children, sister of the late Lois, Harold and Stanley 
Harwood, daughter of Alta (Eagle) & Jay Harwood, son of Riley Harwood, the 
Harwoods being one of the earliest families to settle in Berlin Township.  Born 
July 15, 1904, she died July 1, 2007, just 14 days short of her 103rd 
birthday!  She and Max raised Hampshire and Suffolk sheep on their farm on 
State Road in Orange Township.  Buried in Saranac Cemetery.
