RESIDENT OF EASTON DEAD
Irving S. Stebbins, Cousin of Ionia Mayor, Born There 68 Years Ago; Rites Sunday

Irving S. Stebbins, 68, of Easton, a cousin of Mayor Allen E. Stebbins of 
Ionia, died Thursday morning of a three-year illness of cancer. Rev. P.W. Frye 
will conduct the services Sunday, 2 o’clock, at the home, and 2:30 o’clock at 
the Saranac Methodist Episcopal church. Burial will be in Saranac cemetery.

He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Chauncey Stebbins, pioneers of Easton township. 
He was born I n Easton and had lived there all of his life and the most of the 
time on the farm where he died and was the last of the family of three 
children. He was a prominent farmer and stock buyer.

Surviving is the widow, formerly Amy Parker, of Keene, to whom he had been 
married 47 years. He also leaves three children, Harold, at home, and William 
and Mrs. Lucille Storey of Saranac; and six grandchildren.
