Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Fri. June 30, 1967

SARANAC- William R. Stebbins, 73, of 44 Vosper, Saranac, died Thursday in 
Monroe following a short illness.

He was born November 27, 1893 in Easton township, the son of Mr. and Mrs. 
Irving Stebbins and a lifelong resident of Ionia county, working at Ionia 
Manufacturing Co. and later Mitchell-Bentley in the tool and die department.

His wife Mildred preceded him in death in 1946.

Surviving are three sons, Wayne of Saranac, Hugh of Milan; one daughter, Mrs. 
Martha DeYoung of British Honduras, Central America; two grandchildren; one 
sister, Mrs. Lucille Story of Lowell.
