Lina E. Stebbins, 62, of Port Ritchey, Fla., died at Metropolitan Hospital,
Grand Rapids, Sunday.  Born Sept. 5, 1923, she was the daughter of Zana P. and
Mary E. Lennon Smith.  She graduated from Ionia High School with the Class of 1942.

She was married to Leslie Stebbins Aug. 15, 1942, in St. Johns; he preceded her
in death Nov. 17, 1983.  She was employed at the AC Sparkplug plant in Ionia and
also by Peabody Hardware.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Harold (Sharon) Kanouse of Orleans; three
grandchildren; two sisters, Velma Wert of Daytona Beach, Fla., and Mrs. Edward
(Katherine) Easton of Grand Ledge; and her mother-in-law, Myrtle Stebbins of
Belding; two nieces and two nephews.

Funeral services will be held from the Montgomery-Roetman Funeral Home, 148 E.
Main Street, Wednesday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating. 
Burial will be in Easton Cemetery.  The family will be at the funeral home
Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
