Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Thurs. July 12, 1973

PALO- Mary A. Stedman, 93, who resided at Ionia Manor the past several years, 
died late Wednesday afternoon.

Born December 23, 1879 in Montcalm county, she was a daughter of the late Mr. 
and Mrs. James Patrick and was preceded in death by her husband George Stedman 
in 1956.

She was a lifetime member of Palo Order of Eastern Star, Past Matrons’ club and 
Snows Corner Farm Bureau.

Surviving relatives include a brother, Milne Patrick of Ionia; two foster sons, 
James Smith of Ionia and Alden Smith of Fenwick; and five foster-grandchildren.

The body is at Stone-Kauffman funeral home in Ionia, where friends and 
relatives may call between 7 and 9 pm July 13.
