Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Sat. Jan. 2, 1989

IONIA- Nettie W. Stedman, 93, formerly of Ionia, died Dec. 31 at Belding 
Christian Nursing Home.

She was born May 7, 1894, in Otisco Township, the daughter of Chauncey and 
Jennie Rousch Snow. She attended the Brink School.

A life member of the Order of the Eastern Star, she was also a life member of 
Ronald Willing Workers, and a 50-year plus member of the First Christian Church 
of Ionia.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Victor (Idaleen) Fetzner of Hart; a son, Leslie 
Stedman of Ionia; eight grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and two great 
great grandchildren.

Complete funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday from the First 
Christian Church of Ionia, with the Rev. F. Michael Valentine officiating.

Burial will be in Woodard Lake Cemetery.

The family will be at the Rich Street Chapel of Cook Funeral Home Sunday from 2 
to 6 p.m.

A memorial for the First Christian Church Memorial Fund has been established, 
in care of the funeral home.
