Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Wed., Apr. 9, 1930
Mrs. David Stedman, 79, passed away at her home in South Ionia Wednesday morning 
at 6 o'clock after a four weeks illness. The funeral services will be held from 
the house in South Ionia, Friday April 11, at 2 o'clock eastern standard time. 
The interment will take place in Woodard Lake cemetery.

She leaves her husband, David Stedman; three daughters, Mrs. H.B. McKay of 
Minneapolis, Minn; Mrs. Josephine Smith of Watertown NY and Mrs. J.E. Doble of 
Detroit; step-children, Mrs. Eva L. Amphlett of Ionia; Mrs. Maude P. Sales of 
Berea, Calif; Mrs. Daisy Gilmore of Berlin; Lee B. Stedman of Ionia, and H.N. 
Stedman of Cormopolis Wash; 13 grandchildren and sis great-grandchildren.

Although born in Canada, she had lived in South Ionia for a great many years. 
She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church.
