JAMES ROBERT STEED
Lake Odessa, MI - James Robert Steed of Lake Odessa age 66, passed away into the 
arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in the early morning hours of 
Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2016.

Jim was born to Robert and Mary Alice (Ferguson) Steed in Grand Rapids on 
Tuesday, July 4, 1950.

Jim is survived by his beloved beloved wife Robin (DePelsMaeker); loving 
children, Cherith (Daniel) Goodemoot, Micah (Sara) Steed, Robert (Mistie) Steed, 
Erin (David) Stephens, Eddie (Jennifer) Eddy, Richard (Sarah) Eddy, Michael 
(Joadelle) Eddy, Michael (Joadelle) Eddy; 20 grandchildren; sister Carol Steed 
and Marilyn (Gene) Ahrens; brother, John (Shelly) Steed; step-mother Jerene 
Steed; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other beloved members of the Steed 
family.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The Service of Praise and Thanksgiving was celebrated by Pastor Dan Austin 
Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2016, at Blytherfield Hills Baptist Church, 6727 Kuttshill 
Drive NE, Rockford, MI. 49341.

Jim will be laid to rest in Rosedale Memorial Park Cemetery, Grand Rapids.
