Lyons Herald, 17 Oct 1901

Bernice Mae Steele, infant daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. Wm. Steele, died Oct. 9, of 
cholera infantum.  The funeral was held from the residence of Joseph Powell, 
Thursday afternoon at two o’clock when sympathizing friends met with the 
sorrowing relatives of the little one taken from them in the sweet purity of 
babyhood.  The services were conducted by Rev. Henry Powell and appropriate music 
was furnished by Misses Nina and Susie Servoss.  Interment at Muir.
