The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, February 10, 1930

Mrs. Thomas Steere, 47, of Belding, died in the Howell sanitarium Saturday 
night, where she had been a patient for three weeks.  The body was brought to 
the Stebbins funeral home Saturday night, and will be taken to the home in 
Belding Monday and the funeral services will be held at the Belding Methodist 
Episcopal church Tuesday afternoon at 2:30.

Mrs. Steere was born at Crystal, and had lived the greater part of her life in 
that vicinity and Belding.

She leaves her husband, Dr. Thomas Steere; two children, Marcheta and David, 
and a brother, I. S. Towe, of Ionia, and a sister, Mrs. Rose Ryan, of Detroit.
