The Ionia Daily Sentinel, Wednesday, January 24, 1912
Charles Stein, aged 84, an old resident of Saranac, died at his rooms on Main 
Street on Friday, Jan. 12.  Surviving him are three sons, Will Stein, of 
Saranac, Fred Stein of Benton Harbor, and Charley Stein, of Ionia.  Funeral 
was held from the home of the son, Will Stein, on Monday, burial in Saranac 
cemetery.
