Sept. 22, 1947 FRANK STEINBERG Funeral services for Frank Steinberg, age 57, will be held from the Myers funeral home Tuesday morning at 8:30 and from SS. Peter and Paul's church at 9 o'clock, with burial in Mt. Olivet cemetery. Frank Steinberg died Saturday afternoon in a Grand Rapids hospital shortly after admittance there. He had been in poor health for three years and seriously ill for two months. He was born in Ionia May 28, 1890, the son of Roman and Julia Stenberg. He spent his early years in Ionia, then lived in Flint, Pateron, New Jersey, and Boston, Mass., for a number of years. About eight years ago he returned to Ionia to make his home with his father, who preceded him in death by only eight months. Mr. Steinberg was a veteran of World War I, being a member of the 38th Infantry, third division, and saw action in the Argonne and the battle fo St. Mihiel. He also served in the army of occupation in Germany. He is survived by two brother, Joseph of Ionia and Thomas of Muskegon; two sisters, Mrs. Clarence Comer of Grand Rapids, and Mrs.Frank Dardis of Cambridge, Mass.; one nephew, Clarence Heufelder, of Boston, Mass., and one niece, Jacqueline Dardis, of Cambridge. The Rosary society of SS. Peter and Paul's church will meet at 7:30 to recite the rosary. Additional Comments: Mt.
